Where are the recreation games played?

The games are played at the SASL Fields, which are at the Lions Club Fairgrounds in Sanford

When are the recreation games?

A game schedule should have been given to you by your coach during your child's first practice. A game schedule can also be found in the recreation section of our website.

When does my child practice?

Your child's coach will be contacting you following the coaches meeting, scheduled for August 15th. If you do not hear from your child's coach by August 22nd, please contact SASL. A practice schedule is now available in the recreation section of our website.

Where does my child's team practice?

Your child's coach will inform you of what field your child's practice will be on. A field map is located on the recreation section of our website.

How do I sponsor a team?

We are always looking for sponsorships each season. If you or someone you know is interested in sponsoring a team please contact one of the SASL board members.

Where is the SASL Office located?

The SASL office is located at 160 Moore Street in Sanford. We are at the corner of Moore and Wicker Street over looking the Depot Park.

Why is some of the parking blocked off on game days?

Often times there are certain parking areas blocked off. We typically block off these areas for one or two reasons. The first reason is for safety of the children. We block off areas on picture day in order to provide a safe place for parents and children to walk while the photographers are taking photos. This is a very busy day and children do not always pay attention to the road. A second reason we block off parking areas is due to our Classic and Challenge games. Our Classic and Challenge teams often have home games and we need to have parking close by their fields for our away visitors. Please be aware and follow all barricades on game days! The barricades are in place for safety reasons!!!

Why are pets not allowed?

SAFETY First!!! Pets are not allowed on the SASL fields primarily for safety reasons. We do not want any child or parent getting bitten by any animal. Another safety reason is we do not want to have animal waste on the fields. If animal waste is present on the fields, our children are at risk of touching this waste via the soccer balls. We do not want sick children!
