Please come out and join us for opening day of Recreation Season, Saturday, September 11th. The kick off of this recreation season is going to be special! We will have a visit from the Mayor, an inflatable slide, and even a silent auction! We will also be kicking off our SASL Complex fundraiser! This year we are also going to be having a food vendor supply the concessions. ************************************************************************************************ Recreational Soccer does not require trying out, merely signing
up. Every player who signs up within the registration period is guaranteed a spot on a team.
Late registrants ARE NOT guaranteed placement on a team. For first time registrants,
a copy of the player’s birth certificate or passport must accompany the registration form with full payment.
The primary focus at this level of play is fun with no scores being kept and development of skills and players must
play at least one-half of the game. *Players should stay within their age group of play as a general rule of thumb but there will be times when a players’ talent level allows them to play with older age groups. Players may only “play up” TWO YEARS above their true age group. Any player that would like to play up MORE THAN two years must have written approval by the SASL Board of Directors. ************************************************************************************************ The Sanford Area Soccer League offers recreation soccer beginning at the U5 age level. Children must be 4 before August 1, 2010 to participate. Our
oldest age division is U15. Please refer to the age chart below to determine what age group your child will play.
