. . . SASL Thunder Takes Southern Pines Tournaments in Back to Back Seasons . . SASL Thunder comes out on top for the second season
in a row in a Southern Pines tournament. SASL Thunder, a true U09 Challenge soccer team competed in the U10 age bracket for
the 2009-2010 season. Thunder with a regular season record of 5-1-2 competed in the 2010 Adidas Summer Starter in Southern
Pines the weekend of May 22-23. Thunder was down one loss going into the second day of the tournament and came back strong
and took home the win in the U10 age bracket. This was the second season in a row the Thunder has won the U10 boys division
in the Southern Pines Tournament. Thunder also competed in the Beast of the East Tournament in Greenville, NC the weekend
of May 15-16 and took home second place in the U10 age bracket. Thunder ended their 2010 Spring season and tournament play
with a record of 10-4-2.

The U10 SASL Sabres beat the Coast FA 99 Red to take 1st place in the Can-Am Cup 2010 Tournament in Myrtle Beach, SC over the weekend. The Sabres went undefeated in the tournament.
